Olga Elizabeth Althans

Visiting and funeral services for Olga Elizabeth Althans, age 89, will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas on Friday, September 13, 2019, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until Rosary time at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service by Deacon Dwayne Joubert at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park cemetery.

Olga was a gift from God to the Richard family. Olga was one of a kind. She entered her heavenly home on September 8, 2019.

Olga was preceded in death by her mother, Olga Heine Althans; father, Aubrey Althans, Sr.; brother, Aubrey Althans, Jr.; sister, Grace Richard and niece, Mary Richard.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, J.B. Richard, Sr.; niece, Ann Perrin and husband Jerry Perrin; nephews, Joe "Chip" Richard, Jr. and wife Michele, David Richard and wife Ann, Carl Richard and wife Brenda, Aubrey Richard and wife Valerie, Jimmy Richard and wife Lori and a special friend, Deanne Richard.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Pinecrest Support Center for their excellent care, protection, love and friendship for last 46 years of her life. In addition, we would like to thank our parents, Grace and J.B. for their life long dedication to Olga's care.
