Krotz Springs- Rite of Committal and Graveside Funeral Services for Norma Eve Valin LeBlanc will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the at St. Anthony Cemetery in Krotz Springs, Louisiana. The Rev. Fr. Michael DeBlanc will be the officiate the funeral services.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 1:30 p.m.

Norma Valin LeBlanc peacefully gained her wings on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home in New Roads, LA, at the age of 80 surrounded by her loving family.  Norma was a longtime resident of Krotz Springs, Louisiana.  She enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and time spent with family and friends. To her grandchildren, she was an avid storyteller. Tales of “Wolfy & Mrs. Maw” will live on forever.  We will remember her as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Norma is survived by her children, Harry Nolan (Bernadette), Tonia Bergeron (Daren), and Kim Peake (Mark); grandchildren, Cassie Nolan, Jacob Nolan, Taylor Parish (Matt), Lainey Romero, Leighton Stagg (Caroline), Derreck Fontenot (Angel), and Carter Peake (Kate); 18 great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Windolin Leger and Susan O’Pry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Hattie Valin; her beloved husband, Joseph “Nookie” LeBlanc; and granddaughters, Sandi Nolan and Bailey Castille.
