MRS. NINA B. PERSICK

Funeral services for Mrs. Alfred Ted Persick, the former Nina J. Bihm, will be held on Friday, July 20th, 2007 at 1:00PM at Big Cane Baptist Church in Big Cane with the interment in the Methodist Cemetery in Palmetto. The Rev. Brian Johnston will conduct the services.

Mrs. Persick, a resident of Palmetto, age 89, died at Flannery Oaks Guest House in Baton Rouge, Tuesday, July 17th at 12:55AM. She was a member of the old Palmetto Baptist Church and transferred membership to the Big Cane Baptist Church.

The family would like to express their special thanks to Flannery Oaks Guest House in Baton Rouge, La. and Generations Hospice of Denham Springs La., for their care and support.

She is survived by 2 sons; Roger Wayne Persick of Melville and Wilbur Sonny Persick and his wife Pat, of Baton Rouge, 1 sister; Mrs. Edward Vida Dutch LeSage of Walnut Creek, CA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Persick was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, retired Police Chief, Alfred Ted Persick and her parents; Willie and Lorena Forest Bihm, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

The family has requested that visitation be observed at Big Cane Baptist Church on Friday, July 20th, 2007 from 11:00am until time of service.
