Nicholas Dicapo

Opelousas A memorial service will be held for Nicholas Joseph Dicapo, age 74, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La. followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the memorial service.

Mr. Dicapo, a resident of Baton Rouge, La., died on Monday, February 27, 2012, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.

He was a retired carpenter and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley May Dicapo of Baton Rouge, La. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Mark Dicapo and Agnes Verlie Soileau Dicapo his sister, Christine Dicapo and his halfbrother, J.L. Thibodeaux.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
