Nelwyn Dupre'

Opelousas- Funeral services for Mrs. Nelwyn Fontenot Dupre, 92, will be held at 2:00p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2007 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Plaisance, followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Mark Melancon will officiate the Mass of Chrisitian Burial.

Mrs. Dupre, a native of Grand Prairie and resident of Opelousas, died on Friday, November 9, 2007 at Opelousas General Medical System.

Survivors include her son, Francis Boy Dupre and his wife Verlie of Plaisance; daughters, Verbie Boudreaux and husband Alcee Boudreaux, Jr. of Lawtell, Velta Bajat and husband Antoine of Opelousas, and Patsy Ann Frame and husband Lester of Opelousas; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 21 great- great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dupre was preceded in death by her husband Louis Dupre, parents Felecian and Rosa Soileau Fontenot, two daughters, Barbara Bourgeois and Gloria Dean Dupre, two brothers, Ira Fontenot and James Lucas Fontenot and a grandson, Paul Speck Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be Keith Pitre, Carl Bourgeois, Kerry Bourgeois, Randy Bourdreaux, Brett Frame, Gregory Dean Frame, Shane Frame, and Casey Louis Frame.

Visiting will be held at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, November 12, 2007 from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. and will re-open at 8:00a.m. on Monday. A rosary service will be held at 7:00pm on Sunday.
