Nathalie Thibodeaux

A Mass of Christian Burial for Nathalie Perrodin Thibodeaux will be held on Monday June 11, 2012 at 2:00pm at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell. The interment will take place at the St. Bridget Cemetery. Fr. Austin Leger will celebrate the mass.

Mrs. Thibodeaux, age 86, a resident of Opelousas, died Friday June 8, 2012 at Opelousas General Health System.

She was active in the St. Bridget Catholic Daughters of America and was a member of the St. Edmonds Altar Society. She also served as a hospital volunteer at Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. After 48 years of service, she retired from Abdallas in Opelousas. Following that, she and her husband Emery owned and operated The Shoe Fits in Opelousas.

She is survived by her sisters Jacqueline P. Caruthers and husband Charlie of Lafayette and Ruth P. Stanley of St. Landry.

Preceded in death by her husband Emery L. Thibodeaux, parents Hursey and Zula D. Perrodin, brothers Morel and Terrel Skip Perrodin, nephew Robert Robbie Beaubouef, nieces Patricia Gail and her husband Ben Crosby and Gwendolyn Ann Beaubouef.

Visitation will be held on Sunday June 10, 2012 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and will reopen on Monday at 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00pm.
