Myrtle Morgan

Opelousas Funeral Services will be held for Myrtle Saucier Morgan, at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Burial will follow in the Palmetto Methodist Cemetery. Chaplain Patrick Braquet will conduct the service.

Mrs. Morgan, age 91, died at her daughters residence on Sunday, May 19, 2013.

Myrtle will be greatly missed, but will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends and all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, David Morgan and wife, Shirley Donald Morgan and wife, Peggy Ricky Morgan and wife, Mildred her daughter, Betty M. McGuirk and husband, Patrick and her sister, Helen S. Fisher. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and 1greatgreat grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow J. Morgan her parents, Weaver Saucier and Ellen Chelette Saucier and 5 siblings.

Visiting hours will begin on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
