Monty Kaiser

Funeral services for Monty Louise Kaiser will be held on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs. The burial will take place at the church cemetery. Bro Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mrs. Kaiser, age 61, a resident of Krotz Springs was born on March 8, 1951 in Oklahoma City, OK and died Saturday January 5, 2013 at Opelousas General Health System. She was an employee at Krotz Springs Refinery as a lab technician for 14 years from 1983 until 1997. She loved cooking for her family and friends and was a very artistic person and also loved to design and decorate in the home for many. She was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, sister and friends with many.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Kenneth Kaiser of Krotz Springs, mother, Dorothy Ortis of Port Barre, her mother in law, Loretta Kaiser of Krotz Springs, sons, Charles Chuck Clifton Cunningham and wife Rikki Dee Cunningham of Gonzales, Kenneth Kaiser, Jr. and wife Monique Cravins Kaiser of Goose Creek, SC, and Hogan Kaiser of Krotz Springs, daughters, Laura Cunningham Johnson and husband David of Denham Springs, Erin Lynn Kaiser of Krotz Springs, sisters, Sheila Bodin and husband Dale of Krotz Springs, Sue Trahan and husband Gene of Krotz Springs, Donna Perez and husband Ernie of Port Barre and eight grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley and Haleigh Johnson, Cory and Cody Cunningham, Krystal Dubroc, Ty Landon Bodin and one grandchild expecting to arrive in April 2013, Mimi Kaiser and a very special Godchild that she has held very close to her heart, Holly Trahan Fontenot and one great grandchild, Koryn Dubroc.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Lee Stillwell Taylor, father, Arthur W. Ortis, Jr., brother, Gerald Steven Ortis, father in law, Claude Kaiser, grandmother, Bertie Stillwell, grandmother, Eva Ortis and her grandfather, Arthur Ortis.

The family has requested visitation will be held on Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 12 Noon until 9:00pm and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00am until time of services.
