Mr. Savoie, 86, died Tuesday, March 6th, 2007 at Doctors Hospital, Opelousas. Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2007 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas. Pastor Perry Hubbs will conduct the service. Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas at noon, Saturday, March 10, 2007

Mr. Savoie is survived by 3 daughters; Shirley Pitre, Annabell Guillory and Patricia Horn, 2 sons; Ronnie and Donnie Savoie, 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 sister-in-law; Hazel Gianellone.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Juanita, his parents; Adolph and Ozina Fruge Savoie,, brothers; Ulysse, Fred, Freddie, Batmas, Ellis, Bertrand, Nolton and one sister; Josephine S. Barker.
