MAYDORE DORA FONTENOT DARBONNE

Funeral services for Mrs. Maydore Dora Fontenot Darbonne will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 25th, 2007 at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas. The interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Park. Msgr. Robert Romero will conduct the services.

Mrs. Darbonne, age 88, a native of Ville Platte and a long time resident of Opelousas, died at Opelousas General Health System on Monday, April 23, 2007, at 11:25AM.

She is survived by a daughter; Nela Badeaux of Opelousas and a brotoher; Alcee Fontenot of Carencro. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Katie Menard of Lafayette, Benjamin Fontenot of Carencro and Kimberley B. Voss of Opelousas, 4 great-grandchildren; GregMenard, Jr. of Sunset, and Kary Menard of Lafayette, Paige Voss and Christian Voss both of Opelousas and 1 great-greatgrandchild; Zeke Menard of Sunset.

She was preceded in death by; a son; Harry Joe Fontenot, brothers; Eldy, Murry, Alcidus and Remi Fontenot, 2 sisters; Estelle Manuel and Marie Fontenot.

Pallbearers will be Greg Menard, Jr., Benjamin Fontenot, Eugene Lanclos Jr., Mitch Lanclos, Christopher Hebert and Emery Fontenot.

The family has requested that visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday from 4:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00AM to time of service. Deacon Tom Lindsey will lead the Rosary at 7:00PM today.
