A memorial service for Mary Lois Langlois will be held on Monday October 3, 2011 at 2:00pm at LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Pastor Rob Miller will conduct the service.
Mrs. Langlois, age 69, a resident of Lafayette died Thursday September 29, 2011 at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Langlois of Lafayette, two grandchildren Nicole Lagneaux Soileau and husband James of Opelousas, Hunter Lagneaux of Lafayette and one great grandchild Hailey Alice Soileau of Opelousas, sister Linda Meaux and husband Russell of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Langlois and her parents Bill and Mary Metrejean Stokan.
The family has requested visitation be held on Monday October 3, 2011 from 11:00am until time of service at 2:00pm.
In Lieu of flowers donations would be greatly appreciated to offset medical and funeral expenses.
