Mary Devillier

Krotz Springs Funeral services will be held for Mary OConnor Devillier at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 31, 2014, in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the service. Burial will be held at the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Devillier, age 67, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Opelousas General Health System.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother who loved the time she spent with her family and friends. Mary showed grace and strength during her battle with breast cancer. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors are her husband, Jewell Sonny Devillier of Krotz Springs, La. her sons, Craig Devillier of Lafayette, La. Joseph Devillier of Opelousas, La. Carl Devillier and fianc, Tina Duplechain of Duson, La. Donald Devillier and wife, Missy of Hammond, La. Michael Devillier and wife, Elizabeth of Downsville, La. her daughters, Tanya Williams and husband, Chris of Krotz Springs, La. Gigi Andrus and husband, Joseph of Greenbrier, Arkansas her brother, Ray OConnor and her sisters, Charlene OConnor, Roma Gail Duvall, Magleen LeJeune, Darlene Barker, Mona Pierce, Genever Hudson and Elvina Mires. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lindsey Jacob Devillier and wife, Lulu Amalee Devillier, Brooke Williams Morgan and husband, Nick Matthew Williams Riley and Makenzie Andrus Noah, Grace and David Devillier and her greatgrandchildren, Aniston Morgan and Naomi Devillier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester OConnor and Ella Mae Dupuis her brothers, Kermit OConnor, Patrick OConnor Chester OConnor, Jr. and her sister, Rose West.

Visitation will be held at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Friday, May 30, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday at 7:00 a.m. until service time.
