Mary Cormier

Opelousas Funeral services for Mary Hazel Cormier, age 92, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011, in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Austin Leger will conduct the service.

Ms. Cormier was a native and lifelong resident of Lewisburg.

She is survived by her brother, Mr. J.B. Cormier and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph P. Cormier, Sr. and Bernadette F. Cormier brothers, Oscar Cormier, Louis Cormier, Ewell Cormier, Lloyd Cormier, Alton Cormier, Elvin Cormier, Joseph Cormier, Jr., Merrick Cormier and Enos Cormier and three sisters, Mabel Cormier, Elize Fontenot and Rita Devalcourt.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Devillier, Josh Devillier, Hunter Devillier and Patrick Cormier.

Visiting will be held in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
