Mary Soileau

Opelousas- Funeral services for Mary Cooper Soileau, age 79, will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home, followed by interment in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.

Ms. Soileau was born on August 19, 1928 in Coushatta, LA and died at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Senior Village Nursing Home.

Ms. Soileau is survived by a son, Millard Joseph Joe Soileau and his wife Billie; two daughters, Peggy Ann Walters and husband Tim of Prince Frederick, Maryland and Leah Gayle Madden of Dallas, TX; a brother Arnold Mercer Bud Cooper, Jr. and two grandchildren Bach Prados and Katy Soileau.

Ms. Soileau was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Mercer Big Boy Cooper and Lucy Smith Cooper and a brother, Sam Brooks Cooper.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 8:00- 10:00 a.m.
