Mary Bourgeois

Krotz Springs - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mary Ducote Bourgeois on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Rite of Committal will be at the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Reverend Jason Vidrine will celebrate the mass.

Mrs. Bourgeois, formerly of Krotz Springs, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Zachary Manor Nursing Home in Zachary, LA.

Mrs. Bourgeois was an interior decorator and seamstress with a great love for sewing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters; Maylia Fay Hebert, Marilyn Giuliante and husband, John; her step son, Robin Bourgeois; her step daughters, Margie (Gilcrest) Kilcrease, Patricia McStoots, and Judy Albarado; her sisters, Lou Crousillac and Myrtle Circello. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Ducote; her second husband, Ruby Bourgeois; her parents, Willis Ray and Orcale Thomasee Ray; her brothers, Johnny Ray and Raymond Ray; her sister, Alice Wisdom and her step son, Daryl Bourgeois.

The family has requested visitation be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m.
