Martha Lagrange

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha D. Lagrange will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, 2007, at 2:30PM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park. The Rev. Ken Domingue will conduct the services.

Mrs. Legrange, age 83, died on Saturday, August 4th at Opelousas General Health System at 1:40PM. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, a member of Cow Bells and Woodmen of the World. Mrs. Lagrange loved to crochet, loved the outdoors and flowers. and she lived for her 2 grandchildren.

She is survived by her son; James Jim Lagrange and his wife Bonnie of Leonville, 2 grandsons; Charles Lagrange of Greenville S.C. and Bryan Lagrange of Lafayette, and her brothers; J.E. Tee-Ed Dekerlegand and his wife Mildred Dekerlegand of San Antonio TX. and Eddie Dekerlegand and his wife Shirley of Opelousas and sister in law; Bernice Dugas of Leonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father Joel Dekerlegand and her mother Odiede Arnaud Dekerlegand, her husband; Moise Lagrange, brothers; Willie and his wife Sadie Dekerlegand, sisters; Betty Dekerlegand, Hazel Reed and a sister-in-law; Laura Dekerlegand, and a brother-in-law; Glenn Reed

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Tuesday, August 7th, 2007 from 8:00AM until time of service, at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home on Sunset Highway in Opelousas. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 1:00PM.
