Marshall Savage, Iii

Melville A Mass of Christian Burial for Marshall Marshy Savage, III, age 66, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at the St. John Catholic Church in Melville, LA, followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend James Brady will celebrate the Mass.

Mr. Savage, a resident of St. Francisville, La., died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 7:22 a.m. at his residence.

Marshall was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in St. Francisville, La. He also enjoyed playing tennis, fishing and being with his family and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Savage of St. Francisville, La. his sons, Thomas Savage and wife, Lisley, of St. Francisville, La. Brandon Achord and wife, Vanessa of St. Francisville, La. his daughters, Kathryn Wheeler and husband, Bryan, of Simmesport, La. Marsha Day and husband, Bill, of Florence, Oregon his brother, Jimmy Rawls of Lafayette, La. his sisters, Dorothea Holley and husband, Tim, of Clinton, La. Jennifer Ziegler of Lafayette, La. Cathie Savage and Christie Savage both of Arnaudville, La. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Camila and Marsha Ann Savage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Savage, Jr. and Fena Cannatella Savage and his sister, Kim Savage.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville, beginning on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
