Funeral services for Marlene Snooky Castille Hebert Miller will be held on Monday November 10, 2014 at 11:00am in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Opelousas. The interment will take place at the Little Red Church Cemetery. Reverend Benny Reppond will conduct the services.

Mrs. Miller, age 78, a resident of Sunset was born on July 20, 1936 and passed away on November 6, 2014 at Prompt Succor Nursing Home.

She worked as a clerk at the Sunset Health Unit. She loved bowling, playing cards and going to the casino. She also loved football, specifically the New Orleans Saints.

Survivors include her daughters Kerry H. Fontenot and husband David of Opelousas, Michelle H. Faul and husband DeDe of Sunset, step daughters Cassandra M. Shore and husband Francis of Baton Rouge, Marcella Miller of Baton Rouge and Celine M. Guillory and husband Clyde of Opelousas, step son Cecil Miller and wife Vickie of Broussard, brothers Raleigh Castille of Bellevue, Armand Castille of Opelousas, sister Betty McKinney of Opelousas, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her first husband Charles Hebert, second husband Wesley Miller, parents Armand Joseph Castille, Jr. and Annie Sally Castille, daughters Becky Hebert, Charlene H. Pitre, step granddaughter Heather Miller, siblings Felix Castille, Dudley Castille,, Marion Castille and Gladys C. Rose.

The family has requested visitation be held on Sunday November 9, 2014 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm and reopen on Monday at 8:00am.

Pallbearers will be David Fontenot, Jarid Fontenot, Cecil Miller, DeDe Faul, Kenny McKinney and Charles Pitre. Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Lacassine, Armand Castille and Raleigh Castille.
