Opelousas - Funeral services for Marjorie Corrine Robin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Chapel.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marjorie Corrine Robin, age 80, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas.

Marjorie was a special gift to everyone.  She loved being at home cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, John Robin, and wife, Marice; her daughter, Darlynn Zeiters and Neal Guidroz; daughter-in-law, Darlene Robin and her brothers, Nubby D'Avy, Jr. and wife, Lillian and Terry D'Avy and wife, Janine.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Eric Robin (Meegan), Chad Robin (Amanda), Seth Robin, Celeste Patin (Logan), Zachary Robin (Taylor), Ashlynn Robin and nine great-grandchildren, Landon Robin, Eli Robin, Kylee Robin, Beau Robin, Everly Robin, Jolee Robin, Anna-Leigh Zeiters, Ryder Patin and Braxton Robin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Robin; her son, Keith Robin; her father, Nubby D'Avy, Sr.; her brother, Marshall D'Avy and his wife, Ronnie; and her sister-in-law, Rose Darby.

Pallbearers will be Eric Robin, Chad Robin, Seth Robin, Logan Patin, Zachary Robin, Justin D'Avy and Hunter Fontenot.
