Funeral services for Marjorie Jackson Menard known to family and friends
as Margie, 81 will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at LafondArdoin Funeral Home, Sunset Hwy. in Opelousas, LA with burial in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

An Episcopal service will be held at LafondArdoin Funeral Home on Tuesday,
November 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Pete Smith will officiate the service.

Mrs. Menard, a resident of Opelousas, LA died at Opelousas General Hospital on
Saturday, November 3, 2012. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will also be remembered for her incredible strength and determination.

Margie was a loving wife and mother, who loved her family. She enjoyed such hobbies
as sewing, growing flowers, embroidering for her granddaughter and others. She loved sharing her hobbies and interests with others.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Menard and Cindy Menard Hollier and her
husband, Glenn Hollier, one very special and much loved granddaughter, Jessica Hollier
Graham and her husband, Michael Graham and two beautiful and also much loved great
grandchildren, Cullen Michael Graham, III and Wyatt James Graham, all of Opelousas, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenis J. Menard, her parents, Mae Jackson
and Vivian Jackson and one brother, Cecil Ray Jackson.

Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6,
2012.

Special thanks to her caregivers to Ms. Ida Oakley, Ms. Claudia Jones, Ms. Effie
Chambers and DeAngela Pierre, Louisiana Hospice Care and to the staff at Opelousas General
Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society andor Macular
Degeneration Foundation.
