Marion Breaux

OpelousasFuneral services for Marion R. Breaux, age 75, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in the St. Anthony Catholic Church followed by interment in the church cemetery in Krotz Springs, La. Reverend Ledoux will officiate services.

Ms. Breaux, a native of Krotz Springs, La. died on Monday, June 15, 2009 at Opelousas General Health System.

Ms. Breaux was a wonderful person who is loved and will be missed dearly by her loving family.

She is survived by her brother, Davis J. Jim Breaux, Jr. of Krotz Springs, La.; her sisters, Dorothy Breaux Perroux and husband, Claude J., of Krotz Springs, La. and Joyce Breaux Stafford and husband, Harry, of Zwolle, La. She is also survived by her niece, Davelyn Boudreaux and her nephews, Kent Matthew Perroux, Brett Louis Perroux, James Drew Perroux and 10 great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Davis J. Breaux, Sr. and Corinne Artigue Breaux; her maternal grandparents, Albert Artigue and Alzena Arceneaux Artigue and her paternal grandparents, Charles Breaux and Elizabeth Taylor Breaux and her brother, Adolph Breaux and a niece Anita Wynn Cottano.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
