Marguerite Marshall

Opelousas - A graveside service for Marguerite Marie Marshall, age 56, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

Marguerite was a native of Church Point, LA, and a longtime resident of Opelousas, LA, She was currently residing in the Acadia-St. Landry Nursing Home in Church Point. She died on Monday, November 7, 2016, at Opelousas General Health System.

She is survived by her brother, Gene Marshall; cousin, Rebecca Ortego and husband, Harry "Skip"; niece, Jennefer Marshall; and nephews, Gregory Landry; and Mathew Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.L. "Doodle" Marshall, Jr. and Gilda Ortego Marshall.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Nursing Staff of the Acadia-St. Landry Nursing Home, the OGHS ICU Staff, Dr. Ty Hargroder and Dr. Michael Burnell for all of their wonderful medical care which was given to Marguerite.
