Krotz Springs - A Memorial Service will be held for Margret Camille "Mickey" Evans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the funeral service. Burial will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Evans, age 85, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, died on Monday, March 30, 2015 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville, LA.

Camille was a hairdresser by trade. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making quilts and baking. Her true love was spending time her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Evans and wife, Jerry, of Zachary, LA, Calton Evans and wife, Karen, of Krotz Springs, LA; Jody Evans and wife, Tina, of Krotz Springs, LA; her sisters, Ida Keith of New Hampshire; Mary Vivian of Baton Rouge, LA and Tamra Frazee of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Screws; her second husband, Harold Evans; her parents, Calton and Gertrude Bourgeois Frazee and her daughter, Shannon Bailey.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Friday, April 3, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m.
