Margie Hebert

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Theresa Margie Reed Hebert, age 77, at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012, at St. Landry Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Albert Borel and Reverend James Brady as the celebrants.

Mrs. Hebert, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas, La.

Margie was the secretary at St. Landry Catholic Church for over 25 years. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Carlos Hebert and wife, Brenda, of Opelousas, La. her five grandchildren, Dana Klimavicz and husband, Jeremy, of Baton Rouge, La. Christopher Jeffers of Baton Rouge, La. Brendaly Hebert of Opelousas, La. Scotty Quebedeaux of Opelousas, La. Marcia Lavergne and husband, Michael, of Columbus, Georgia and ten greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eugene Hebert her parents, Charles Nathan and Elina Betrand Reed her daughters, Theresa Eugenie Quebedeaux Jonie Marie Hebert her brothers, C.N. Reed, Jr. Anthony OBrian Reed and her grandson, Troy Anthony Quebedeaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday at 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
