Maddux Dupre

Opelousas - Graveside services for Baby Maddux John Cade Dupre will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.  Deacon Dwayne Joubert will officiate the service.  Prior to the graveside service, there will be a family gathering beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the cemetery.

Maddux John Cade Dupre, 5 days, gained his angel wings on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 4:25 p.m. at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

Maddux touched everyone's lives and will be missed by his family.

Maddux is survived by his loving parents, Carlon John Dupre and Natasia Breshae Pitre of Opelousas; his maternal grandparents, John Pitre and wife, Erica, of Opelousas; and Lacie Hutto of Lafayette; his paternal grandmother, Amy Prestenbach of Opelousas; his maternal great-grandparents, Janice Pitre of Opelousas; and Jimmy Hutto and Debbie Hutto of Port Barre; and his paternal great-grandparents, John and Cecille Dupre of Opelousas.  He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Ava Prestenbach, Jayden Pitre, Keely Pitre, Gabe Guillory and Abby Guillory and his Godparents, Logan Briley, and Britany LeDee along with a host of family members.

Maddux was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Clifton Pitre, II ; and his great-grandmother, Ramona Artigue.

LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
