Lyle Voss

Lyle Christopher Voss, age 53, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 4, 2016. He is survived by his parents, Darlene and Frank Trosclair of Opelousas and John H. Voss, III of Morgan City; former spouse, Kimberley Voss of Opelousas; daughter, Paige Elizabeth Leger and husband Eric of Opelousas; son, Christian Voss of Opelousas; brothers, John H. Voss, IV, Randy Voss and Frank Trosclair, III all of Opelousas; sisters, Dawn Voss-McReynolds and husband John of Kansas City, MO, Mary Voss Miller of Leonville and Tammy Voss Watkins and husband Frank of Maurice; grandchildren, Haiden John, Addison Claire and Elizabeth Jaide Leger all of Opelousas; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lyle and Mabel Crites; and paternal grandparents, John and Cecile Voss.

Lyle was a great son, brother, father, uncle and friend to so many and will be dearly missed by all.

His love for nature and genuine respect for the outdoors will remain vivid in our memories and our hearts. He lived for his three grandchildren and he was so proud of the outstanding adults that his children have become.

Visitation will be held at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.

Rev. Douglas Trahan will officiate the Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
