Louise Flechas Lyons Davy of Opelousas, LA died on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at The Summit Nursing Home in Alexandria, LA.

Louise was 97 years of age. She was born and grew up in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She married Dorsey E. Lyons and had six children. She later married Lewis Davy of Opelousas where they made a home for many years.

She will be remembered by her children for her love of sewing and enjoyment of playing bridge.
We would like to say thank you to her faithful caregivers, Genevieve Major, Johanne Pickney, Ann Neimer, Dorita West, Willie Mae Bowman and Irisa Zene.

She is survived by her five daughters, Clara Lyons Castano of New Bern, North Carolina Judy Lyons Fullerton of Placerville, California Nancy Lyons Kennedy of Alexandria, LA Linda Lyons Marks of Colorado Springs, Colorado Patrice Lyons Thistlethwaite of Colorado Springs, Colorado her daughterinlaw, Marie Lyons of Gulf Breeze, Florida Bo Davy Langley of California Kathy Davy Graft of New Orleans, LA Becky Davy of New Orleans, LA and George Davy of Opelousas, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dorsey E. Lyons and Lewis Davy and her only son, Richard E. Lyons.
