Funeral services for Louise Quinalty Andrepont will be Friday August 31, 2007 at 10:00am in the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell. The interment will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery. Fr. Daniel Picard and Fr. Mike Arnaud will concelebrate the funeral mass. Pallbearers will be Wesley Rigsby, Joey Richard, Tommy Quinalty, J.T. Rigsby, Keith Fontenot and Donald Reviere.
Mrs. Andrepont, age 93 a resident of Swords died Tuesday at 10:00pm in Opelousas General Health Systems. She was a homemaker and owner of Andrepont General Merchandise Store. Her greatest passion was her devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all of her loyal customers she had over the years.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter; Martha Rigsby and husband Kenneth of Church Point, son; Charley Andrepont and wife Avia of Swords, five grandchildren; Wesley Rigsby, Jill Decker, Kim Warren, Nicole Gremillion and Joey Richard and six great grandchildren; Wesley Ray Rigsby, J.T. Rigsby, Chas Decker, Mary Grace Decker, Hannah Gremillion and Harrison Warren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Bennie Andrepont, parents; Charley Quinalty and Lydia Moreau Quinalty, sisters; Vernice Frame, Nina Deville and Ethel Darbonne, brothers; Tom Quinalty, John Quinalty and Hammond Quinalty, great grandchild; Olivia Andre Decker and a special niece; Helen Fontenot.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm until 10:00pm and on Friday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:30pm.
The family would like to give special thanks to her Doctors, her 4 caregivers; Brenda Fontenot, Faye Owen, Vicky Sam and Anna Belle Guidry, as well as family and friends who gave compassionate care during her illness.
Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on the old Sunset Hwy. is in charge of the arrangements.
