Krotz Springs A funeral service will be held for Louis Andrew Wiltz at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014, in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the service. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wiltz, age 60, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at his residence.

Louis was a devoted and active member of First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs and had a passion for serving the Lord. He was a deacon and Bible study teacher for 35 years. He also drove the church van for 28 years. He was a member of the Baton Rouge Carpenters Local Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Louis will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors are his wife of 38 years, Fran Wiltz, of Krotz Springs, LA his daughters, Susan Thibodeaux and husband, Jason, of Eunice, LA Lynn Bolfa and husband, Chad, of Krotz Springs, LA his brothers, Paul Wiltz, Jr. and wife, Rebecca, of Port Allen, LA Vincent Wiltz and wife, Carol, of Krotz Springs, LA Howard Woody Wiltz of Krotz Springs, LA his sisters, Bettye Wiltz of Krotz Springs, LA Vyrona Wiltz of Opelousas, LA Acca Wiltz of Opelousas, LA Ruth Kimble and husband, Walter, of Navarre, FL his five grandchildren, Tanner, Carter and Bailey Thibodeaux and Hunter and Hudson Bolfa his sistersinlaw, brothersinlaw, his very special Uncle Carlton Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Acca McDaniel Wiltz his brother, Daniel Wiltz, Sr. his son, Carlton Wiltz and his grandparents, Kathryn and Daniel McDaniel, Sr.

Visitation will be held at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Thursday, July 3, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. open all night until service time on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Walter Kimble, Howard Woody Wiltz, Vincent Wiltz, Paul Edward Wiltz, Jason Thibodeaux, London LaHaye and honorary pallbearers will be Tanner and Carter Thibodeaux and Hunter Bolfa.

Mr. Louis expressed wishes were that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs Family Life Center.
