Lou Lagneaux

Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Ella Lagneaux, will be held on Monday, March 19th, 2007 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Shuteston La. The Interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. The Rev. James H. Thielen, from Cincinnati, Ohio, will conduct the services.

Mrs. Lagneaux, age 76, who was a resident of Sunset, died Friday, March 16, 2007 at Opelousas General Health System.

She is survived by her sons; Raywood Lagneaux of Carencro, Larry Lagneaux of Sunset, Kevin Lagneaux of Carencro, Jasper Lagneaux of Scott, Byron Lagneaux of Sunset and David Lagneaux of Atlanta, Ga., her daughters; Sandi Lagneaux of Sunset, Sheran Richard of Opelousas and Nida McNabb of New Iberia, her brother; Sherwood Leger of Lafayette, her sisters; Lou Ann Leger of Covington La, Audrey Wright of Houston TX., Juanita Richard of New Orleans, Bell Varain of Modesto CA and Irene Thibodeaux of Carencro. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband RJ Lagneaux, her parents; Armany and Nida Broussard Leger and her brothers; Oran Leger and Chester Leger.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Saturday from 2;00PM until time of service on Monday

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00PM.

Pallbearers will be Derek Lagneaux, Robert Lagneaux, Ryan Lagneaux, Brian Richard, Brad Richard, Michael Lagneaux, Brady Richard, Mitchel Lagneaux, Justin Lagneaux, Adam Broussard and Hunter Lagneaux.

Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home on Sunset Highway, Opelousas, is in charge of the arranagements.
