Loretta Leblanc

Funeral services for Mrs. Loretta Guidry LeBlanc will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 10:00AM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel with the interment in Bellevue Memorial Park. The Rev. Jerry Mesley will conduct the services.

Mrs. LeBlanc, age 89, who was a native of Cecilia, Louisiana. died on Monday, December 10th, 2007 at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas. She attended Hotel Dieu Nursing School in New Orleans and T.H. Harris in Opelousas.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Mrs. Gloria Ann Morris and her husband Clyde of Slidell La., Mrs. Jean Arceneaux and her husband Lincoln of Jackson, MS. and Mrs. Elaine Guidroz and her husband Byron of Broussard La. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Melanie Kramer and her husband Darin, Daniel Morris and his wife Shawn, Kenneth Morris, Jacques Arceneaux and Jean-Louis Guidroz and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. LeBlanc was preceded in death by her husband; Frank Sonnie LeBlanc and her Father; Valrie and Mother Leontine Robertson Guidry.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Michael Montgomery and the entire staff of the Family Clinic and to the staffs of Kingsley Place of Lafayette and Senior Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care, compassion and friendship.

The family has requested that visitation will be on Wednesday, December 12th, from 3:00PM to 9:00PM and will continue on Thursday, December 13th from 8:00 until the time of service. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6:30PM.
