A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Logan Mitchell Stelly at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Father Michael DeBlanc will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Anthony Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Monday evening. The funeral home will reopen for visitation on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Logan Mitchell Stelly, age 33, on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Point Coupee General Hospital in New Roads, La.
Logan will forever be remembered for his devotion and his love for his wife, daughters, parents, siblings and his entire family.He was a 2007 graduate of Port Barre High School, where he excelled as a star athlete in baseball, football and track. This competitive spirit followed him in every endeavor that he chose to take part. He would work until he mastered the task at hand. Whether he was competing in a friendly game of cornhole, arcade games, word search or even crossword puzzles. This passion was also seen in his love of LSU sports, hunting, fishing or even buying trinkets. He was a chip off the old block after his father Michael, who is affectionately known by family as the “Infomercial King” and Logan the “Infomercial Prince”. His spirit will be greatly missed his family and friends~ Love you more.
Logan is survived by his wife of four years, Kelley Green Stelly; his parents, Michael and Cynthia Stelly; his daughters, Chloe Taylor and Cassie Stelly; his brother, Christopher Stelly and wife, Joanie and his sister, Halie Briley and husband, Logan; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Mary Stelly. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Brett, Dillan, Baylee, Lilly, Nate, Kylie, Cullyn, Addy, Saige, Kaleb, Izzy and Zander.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louella Ardoin Hyatt; his niece, Addyson Stelly; his uncle, Timothy Dupre and his grandfather, J.B. Hyatt.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Stelly, Travis Barker, Brandon Kraft, Logan Briley, Shayne Green, Corey Guitrau, Torey Humphrey, Dirk Anderson, and honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Green, Dillan Stelly and Brett Darden.
In lieu of flowers, the Stelly family requests donations be made in Logan’s name to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) or Children’s Hospital New Orleans (CHNOLA).
