Lloyd Neely

Melville A memorial service for Lloyd Julius L.J. Neely will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville. Burial will follow in the Baptist Cemetery in Melville, LA. Reverend Tom Harper will conduct the service.

Mr. Neely, age 65, a resident of Melville, LA died on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at 12:01 a.m. at Opelousas General Health System.

Lloyd loved to play and sing gospel music. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Eula Cleveland Neely, of Melville, LA sons, Johnny Neely of Melville, LA and Martial Neely of Gonzales, LA daughter, Melinda Deville of Opelousas, LA a brother, Kenneth Ray Neely of Krotz Springs, LA and his sister, Susie Neely Barker of Melville, LA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sidney Neely and Grace Cora Bell Davis Neely his son, Michael Neely his brother, James Louis J.L. Fuqua and his sister, Shirley Neely Guidroz.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville beginning on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
