Krotz Springs – A Mass of Christian Burial for Lisa Dawn Kimball Guidroz will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Krotz Springs.  Father Michael DeBlanc will celebrate the Mass.  Rite of Committal and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.  A Rosary will be prayed at 1:15 p.m. in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Whitney Fontenot, Teddy Collins, Shane Kimball, Randy David, Louis Polotzola and Shawn Moran.  Honorary pallbearer will be Keith Devillier.

It is with deep sorrow we regretfully announce the passing of Lisa Dawn Kimball Guidroz on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the age of 61, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Lisa previously co-owner of the Krotz Springs Canal Station for many years.  She was a kind and giving person as well as a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a woman of faith and a very prayerful lady.  She loved being outdoors, tending to her flowers, reading books, going camping, fishing and crabbing.  She enjoyed doing yardwork and watching the numerous hummingbirds that showed up each year.  Lisa was a devoted person and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her special companion and best-friend who cared for her and carried her through to the very end, Leighton Stelly of Krotz Springs, La.; her daughters, Jaci Collins and husband, Teddy, of Pecaniere, La. and Jenna Fontenot and husband, Whitney of Opelousas, La.; her brother, Shane Kimball, and wife, Maria of Grand Coteau, La. and her sister, Paula David and husband, Randy, of Opelousas, La.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Raina Collins, Callie Collins, Drew Fontenot, and Levi Fontenot.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Kimball and Betty Moran Kimball; her infant son, Jason Dwayne Morrow; her grandparents, Albert Kimball, Sr., Mary Firmin Kimball, Adam Moran and Eliza Soileau Moran.
