Lisa Mae Bihm Ozanne

Ardmore, Oklahoma

Lisa Mae Bihm Ozanne, age 56, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 56. Lisa was a longtime resident of St. Landry Parish but recently moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born on September 15, 1968, in Lafayette, Louisiana. She brought joy to all who knew her through her vibrant spirit and loving nature.

Funeral services for Lisa will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La. Brother Benny Reppond will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Palmetto Methodist Church Cemetery. 

A visitation will be held for Lisa on Sunday, January 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.  The funeral home will reopen on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. 

A dedicated family woman, Lisa cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She was an excellent cook, delighting family and friends with her cooking skills. Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter. Lisa enjoyed listening to music, shopping, and creating happy memories with those she cared for deeply.

She leaves behind her son, Christopher Michael Artigue, and her daughter, Kathryn Faye Artigue, both of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Lisa is also survived by her brother, Ezekiel Eugene Bihm of Port Barre, Louisiana, and her sister, Melissa Anne Oncale (Ronald), also of Port Barre, Louisiana, along with eight cherished grandchildren.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Eugene Bihm; her mother, Sybil Schexnayder; her son, Joshua Eugene Bihm; her brother, Andrew Bihm; her sister, Candy Sue Schexnayder; her brother-in-law, Craig Schexnayder, Sr.; her grandfather, Claude M. Bihm; and her grandmother, Olivia Bihm.

Lisa Mae Bihm Ozanne will be remembered not just for her cooking and her love for family, but for the mark she left in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be missed but lovingly remembered.
