Linda Ann Primeaux

Linda Ann Primeaux, age 75, of Opelousas, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas.  Graveside services will take place at 3:30 p.m. at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas.  

Linda enjoyed being with her family more than anything else and cherished every moment spent with them. She loved the outdoors and had a multitude of interests such as fishing, camping, and squirrel hunting.

She is survived by her brother, David Ozanne and his wife Yvonne of Opelousas, sisters, Connie Soileau and Lillian Soileau both of Prairie Ronde; as well as many nieces and nephews: Jessica May and her husband, Roy; Julie Chapman and her husband, Cody; Michael Ozanne, and Tony Vasseur and his wife, Jill.  She also has a host of great nieces and great nephews along with countless extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Keith Primeaux; her father, Kirby Soileau; her mother, Valentine Angelle Soileau; and her stepfather, Yeager Soileau.

Pallbearers will be Tony Vasseur, Paul Vasseur, Willie Desormeaux, Jr., Roy May, Jared Chapman, and Xavier May. Honorary pallbearers are David Ozanne and Michael Ozanne.
