Linda Briscoe

Opelousas Funeral services for Linda Briscoe, age 51, will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Brother David Fultz will conduct the services.

Mrs. Briscoe, a resident of Opelousas, died on August 18, 2009 at Opelousas General Health System.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Briscoe, Sr. of Opelousas; her son, Kevin Briscoe, Jr. of Opelousas; her daughter, Amanda Doucet of Opelousas; her parents, Gerald and Delores Morgan of Opelousas; her brothers, Brett Morgan of Port Barre; Keith Morgan of Opelousas; Thomas Morgan of Georgia; Gary Morgan of Port Barre; Warren Morgan of Opelousas and her sister, Theresa Darbonne of Opelousas. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Abby Doucet, Lane Doucet and Devin Briscoe all of Opelousas.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Pritchard, Jr.; her father, James Pritchard, Sr. and her grandmother, Annabell Richard.

Visiting hours will be observed on Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will re-open on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
