LILLIAN DIAVILLE

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Diaville, age 88, will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at The First Pentecostal Church in Opelousas, with the interment in the Melville Pentecostal cemetery. The Rev. Alan Spence and Rev. E.W. Reeves will conduct the services.

Mrs. Diaville, a native and a resident of Port Barre, died at 12:00PM Sunday, January 13, 2008 at her residence.

She is survived by her 4 daughters; Barbara Naquin and her husband Harris of Melville, Natalie Courville of Port Barre, Betty Savoie and her husband Tim of Port Barre and Carol Wheaton and her husband Wilbert of Port Barre, three sons; Joseph. Diaville :J.C.. and his wife Priscilla Diaville of Ville Platte, Jimmy Diaville of Port Allen and Clyde Diaville and his wife Billie Diaville of Port Barre, one sister; Winnie Watson of Sulphur, five brothers; Leo Richard, Leonce Richard both of Port Barre, Kunte Richard of DeRidder, Eugene Richard of Houston TX and Joseph Richard Jr. of Sulphur, nineteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Diaville was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph Richaard Sr and Maria Theodlia Richard, step mother Ezora Daigle Richard, her husband Doris Joseph Diaville, a daughter; Lois Diaville-Prudhomme, a son-in-law; Donald J. Courville Sr., her granddaughter; Paula Naquin-Bonnett, four great-grandchildren; Ethan, Eric, Randy and Terrell, five sisters; Julia Nicolas, Azelie Thibodeaux, Amy Bellard, Marie McClain and Verna Mae Fruge, and two brothers; John Richard and Wilfred Richard.

The pallbearers will be; Kevin J. Diaville, Clyde J. Diaville, Donald J. Courville Jr. Richard Courville, Tim Savoie Jr. and Philip Naquin Sr. Honary pall bearers will be; Jason Satterly and Dustin Fontenot.

Visiting hours will be at the First Pentecostal Church in Opelousas from 3:00PM on Tuesday until the time of service on Wednesday.
