Liesse Ledoux

Lawtell A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Liesse Lee Ledoux at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014, in the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell, LA. Reverend Ted Broussard will celebrate the Mass and Reverend Austin Leger will be concelebrant. Rite of Committal will be held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Ledoux, age 75, a resident of Lawtell, LA died on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Opelousas General Health System.

Liesse worked as a plant manager for Newpark Drilling. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved camping. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 1048 and the Knights of Columbus Council 5532 in Lawtell, LA. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gloria Roberie Ledoux, of Opelousas, LA his sons, James Todd Ledoux of Opelousas, LA Darran Lee Ledoux of Opelousas, LA his daughter, Connie Marie Ledoux of Opelousas, LA his brothers, Glen Ledoux of Opelousas, LA Ronald Ledoux of Opelousas, LA and his sister, Rita Bergeron of Lake Charles, LA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, James Colligan, Eric Colligan, Sonya Dupre, Lauren Leger, Brandi Ledoux, Ross Ledoux, Jacey Cobb and 8 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Rena Darbonne Ledoux.
Visitation will be held at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday, August 21, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
