Leonie Devillier

Funeral services for Leonie Devillier will be held Thursday July 12, 2007 at 1:30pm in the St. Leo The Great Catholic Church with the burial to take place at the St. Leo The Great Catholic Mausoleum. Fr. Paul Metrejean and Fr. Ken Domingue will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Scott Saizan, Phillip Devillier, William C. Dawson, Larry Devillier, Freddie Marks and Keyth Devillier.

Ms. Devillier, age 90 a resident of Leonville died Monday July 9, 2007 at 4:15pm in the Opelousas General Health Systems. She was retired from the St. Lukes Hospital in Arnaudville. She was also a parishioner of St. Leo The Great Catholic Church and a member of the St. Leo The Great Catholic Church Altar Society, Woodmen of the World Lodge 501 and a member of the St. Landry Council on Aging.

Survivors include her sister; Marie Minnie Devillier of Leonville, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph Tilden Devillier and Leonie Marks Devillier, brothers; Louis Valerie Devillier and Raoul Devillier, sister; Alzier D. Wyble Ryder.

Visitation will be at the St. Leo The Great Catholic Church on Thursday July 12, 2007 at 9:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Thursday at 12noon.
