Lena Leger

Funeral services for Lena Manuel Leger, will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Krotz Springs with the interment in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Ledoux will conduct the services.

Mrs. Leger, age 55, a resident of Krotz Springs, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Opelousas General Health System.

She is survived by her son, Kim Leger, Jr. of Krotz Springs; one brother, David Manuel, of Baton Rouge and one sister, Carolyn Manuel, of Krotz Springs.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Kim Leger, Sr. and her parents, Joseph and Jane Meche Manuel.

The family has requested that visitation be observed in Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
