Krotz Springs Funeral services for Lela Mae W. Turner, age 84, will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church followed by interment in the Baptist Cemetery in Krotz Springs, La. Pastor Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mrs. Turner, a resident of Krotz Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Opelousas General Health System.

She is survived by her sons, Don W. Turner and wife, Beverly Lawrence L. Turner and wife, Janice her daughter, Paulette F. Hooks and husband, Carl, all of Krotz Springs, La. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Turner her parents, Lawrence and Lena Ducote Williamson, Sr. and her brother, Lawrence Boy Williamson, Jr.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010 until time of service.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
