Lee Guidry

Funeral services for Lee J. Guidry will be held Monday December 3, 2007 at 11:00am in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will take place at the Holy Sepulcher Mausoleum. Fr. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.

Mr. Guidry, age 87 a resident of Opelousas died Friday November 30, 2007 at Opelousas General Health Systems at 2:30pm.

He is survived by daughter-in-law Sue Kirkpatrick of Opelousas, LA; Grandchildren Trish Kirkpatrick of Charlotte NC, Trina Kirkpatrick of Opelousas LA, Gilbert Ervin Kirkpatrick III of Houston TX, Terri Ann Kirkpatrick and Adrian Savoie of Opelousas LA and Kristopher Kirkpatrick of Opelousas LA; Great-grandchildren - Krisi Carriere and husband Clayton Runfalo of Prairieville LA, Johnny Carriere Jr and Derrick Carriere of Opelousas LA, Angelique Midkiff of New Orleans LA, Aleisha Midkiff of Quincy MI, Jordyn Landon Kirkpatrick of Dallas TX; Great-great-grandchildren Carsyn, Connolly, Derrick, Carlyle and Ayva Lynn; Sister Edaise Hawkins of Lawtell LA, Brother Claude Guidry wife Rosemary of Baton Rouge LA; Sister-in-Law Ida Mae Guidry of Baton Rouge LA.

Preceded in death by wife Bernice Deville Guidry; son Gilbert Ervin Kirkpatrick Jr; parents Eraste and Edelzaine Bergeron Guidry; granddaughter Tracie Kirkpatrick Carriere; great-granddaughter Jade Kirkpatrick; brother Lionel P. Guidry; sisters Mary Barry, Lilies Johnson,Veronica Vicknair, Matilda Rozas.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and on Monday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:00pm. Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of the arrangements.
