Krotz Springs Funeral services for Leah Williams Snyder will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011, in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, La. followed by interment in the Methodist Cemetery in Krotz Springs, La. The Reverend Ted Fine, with the assistance of Reverend Chad Bolfa, will conduct the service.

Mrs. Snyder, age 82, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Opelousas General Health System.

Her passion was her family but mostly, her greatest love of all was her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Clarence W. Snyder, of Krotz Springs, La. her sons, Warren Dale Snyder and wife, Kolleen Alan Lynn Snyder and wife, Belinda Larry John Snyder, Sr. and wife, Nina her daughter, Susie Snyder Lacassin and husband, Doug and her brother Donald Williams and wife, Ethel all of Krotz Springs, La. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren 29 greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and her special feline friends, Tiger and Tomcat.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lovenia Williams five brothers, Lynn Williams, Denny Williams, James Williams, Harry Williams, Durel Williams and one sister, Edna Williams Crow.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, beginning on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on 8:00 a.m. on Friday until service time.
