Opelousas - A Funeral Service for Lawrence Joseph Larcade III will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.  Visitation with family and friends will begin at 9:00 am.  Pastor Benny Reppond will conduct the service.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lawrence Joseph Larcade III, age 81, on March 3, 2022.

Lawrence took a big interest in investments and worked for Planters Bank for over 10 years. One of his favorite things to do was watch LSU football. He was a Stadium Marshall for the Tigers for 53 years. Lawrence will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his brother, Donald Larcade; nephews, Jeff Larcade and Donnie J. Larcade; great-nephew, Grant Larcade; and great-niece, Julia Larcade.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence J. Larcade, Jr. and Cecil Trahan Larcade; his grandparents; and niece, Ladonna Larcade.
