Krotz Springs - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Landon Tate Reed, age 17, at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. Reverend Jason Vidrine will officiate the service. Visitation will be observed in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Landon, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017, at his home.

Landon had a passion for hunting, fishing, playing guitar and guns. He also had a passion and love for his family friends and dogs. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Landon is survived by his loving parents, Jason and Lisa Fitzgerald Reed; his sister, Jacelin and his brothers, Lucas, Lorcan, Lakota and Layton Reed all of Krotz Springs. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Reva Reed; his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Linda Fitzgerald; his Godson, Isaiah Willey and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his wonderful girlfriend, Lilly Ellis.

Landon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernest Roberson; his Uncle Michael Roberson and a host of other family members.
