Lance Corporal Myles Sebastien, U.S.M.C.

Funeral services for Lance Corporal Myles Sebastien USMC will be held Saturday December 30, 2006 at 10:00am in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Bellevue Memorial Park. The Rev. Jeff DeBlanc and Rev. Pete Smith will conduct the services.

Myles, 21, died in the Al Anbar Provence of Iraq last week, while serving his 2nd Combat tour. He was a Mortarman in the 1st Battalion 6th Marines 2nd Marine Division. He was a 2004 graduate of Opelousas High School. He was loved by everyone who knew him and always had a smile.

He is survived by his loving wife Kelie Arnaud Sebastien of Opelousas, his parents; mother Ramona LaCombe Sebastien of Opelousas, his father; Danny Sebastien of Opelousas. His mother-in-law; Linda Arnaud of Opelousas and father-in-law; Gerald Arnaud of Sunset. His paternal grandmother; Beryl Sebastien of Opelousas, his maternal grandparents; Ervin and Sharon LaCombe of New Iberia and Joseph NC and Audry Richard of Opelousas. He is also survived by his sisters Carissa Bergeron, Laura Sebastien and half-sister Kelly Sue Ray all of Opelousas.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Friday from 12 Noon until 9:00pm and will continue on Saturday from 8:00am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. on Friday.
