“Dearest baby girl, please know you have been mommy and daddy’s greatest blessing.”
At approximately 1:52 a.m. on December 17, 2023, Heaven gained a beautiful 4lb. 2oz. baby angel with a head full of black hair. Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of our Lainey Juliet. She was met in Heaven by a multitude of family, who are no doubt all taking turns rocking her. Left on this earth to mourn for her are her parents, Dustin Gauthier and Lauren Satterley Gauthier; her loving big sissy, Lydia O’Connor; her bigger siblings, Jared Gauthier and Lily Gauthier; her paternal grandparents, Sammy Gauthier and Gail Richard Gauthier; her maternal grandparents, Jason and Laurie Satterley; her paternal great grandfather, Ray Monceaux; and her maternal great- grandparents, Pamela “Pam” and Ronald Armond, Dennis and April Satterley, and Joe and Fay Hunt; her uncle, Jon Satterley; her cousin, Walker Satterley; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her paternal great- grandparents, Joan Perry Monceaux, Francis Joseph Gauthier, and Irene Landry Gauthier; and her uncle, Robert Gauthier.
Private Graveside Services for Baby Lainey Juliet Gauthier were held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at First Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Melville with Pastor Devin England and Rev. Samuel Ham officiating the services.
LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
