KERMIT JOSEPH PITRE

A Memorial service for Mr. Kermit Joseph Pitre will be held on Friday, October 19th, 2007, at 5:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Opelousas. The Rev. Perry Hubbs will conduct the service.

Mr. Pitre, age 73, went to meet the Lord, Wednesday, October 17, 2007.

He is survived by his wife; Shirley Savoie Pitre of Opelousas, his sons; Theron Pitre and his wife Terri, of Broussard, Derwin Pitre of Lafayette, Shaun Pitre and his wife Kristen,, of Lafayette and Gerard Pitre and his wife Elena of Jacksonville FL, his sisters; Dawn Sylvester and her husband Kim, of Prairie Rhonde, Cherise Lemelle and her husband Kenneth, of Opelousas, Irice Pitre and her husband Tony, of Opelousas and Juanita Tweedel and her husband Keith, of Lafayette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Pitre was preceded in death by his parents; Clifford and Lillian Darbonne Pitre.

Visitation will be observed at the First Baptist Church in Opelousas on Friday, October 19, 2007 from 3:00PM until the time of the Memorial service.
