Kenneth Muse

Krotz Springs - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Kenneth Ray Muse on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony Catholic Church of Krotz Springs, LA. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Jason Vidrine will celebrate the Mass.

Kenneth, age 64, was a resident of Krotz Springs, died on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Opelousas General Health System.

Kenneth was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic Minister. He was the Grand Marshall for the Sportsman's Heritage Festival in 2016. Kenneth also loved hunting, cooking for his family and friends, family get togethers and enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren. Kenneth will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Debra Hebert Muse, of Krotz Springs, LA; his son, Preston Perry Muse and fiancé, Michelle Fontenot of Krotz Springs, LA; his daughters, Stephanie Muse St. Romain and husband, Glenn of Port Barre, LA; Michelle Muse Dupre and husband, Roger of Krotz Springs, LA; Crystal Muse Bennett and husband, Swain of Krotz Springs, LA; his brothers, Lee Muse and wife, Margaret of Central, LA; Terry Muse and wife, Leah of Krotz Springs, LA; his sisters, Pamela Pereira and husband, Mark of Grayville, LA; Suzette Williams of Walker, LA, Annette Anguiano and husband, Richard of Ocala, FL and Natalie Hatteberg and husband, Brady Franklinton, LA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Kelsey St. Romain, Gavyn Dupre, Seth Bennett, Drake Dupre, Ethan Bennett, Dyllan Muse, Karson Dupre, Parker Muse, Katelyn Landry, McKenzie Landry, Hayden Miller; one great-grandchild, Noah St. Romain and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Helen Muse; his grandparents, Charles and Missy Leblanc; Preston and Natalie Muse; his father-in-law, Jerry Hebert; his mother-in-law, Jeanette Boudreaux and his brother-in-law, Ricky Hebert.

Visiting will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Glenn St. Romain, Roger Dupre, Swain Bennett, Seth Bennett, Gavyn Dupre, Terry Muse, Lee Muse and honorary pallbearer will be Harvey Leblanc.
